Top Ranked Educational YouTube Channels and Videos
If you are considering using YouTube to teach your children, you should consider the different educational videos that are available. These videos can be used for classroom and home purposes. They cover a wide variety of topics and subjects, but there are some considerations you should make before selecting a video for your child. You should also consider who created the video and whether the information presented is accurate. Many of the educational videos on YouTube are produced by professional animators who are experienced in the subject they are teaching.
YouTube has a description box that appears directly beneath the video. Most YouTubers use this space for links to social media accounts and copyright disclaimers. But a few YouTubers treat the box as a bibliography, and their lists of references can be quite comprehensive. For example, Rezo, a popular German YouTuber, recently took down a video that debunked the German government’s inaction on climate change. He compiled a 13-page document with hundreds of references.
Because of the ease of making educational videos on YouTube, even people without a formal education can start uploading their videos. Before, only scholars and educators had access to such materials. YouTube is fast becoming a popular video platform. Even amateur users can become a YouTube sensation and become a star. YouTube has quality control, but this is not always obvious. YouTube stars are more likely to be supported by professional teams and organizations than amateur creators.

Channel info - If you TRY, you can do anything!
It's always been my belief that you cannot put information in other people's heads. If you find a way to show them something, they can use their own intelligence to learn. This is my approach to teaching, trying to be both informative while allowing the students to find their own way of learning.
I've spent the last 26 years teaching in various capacities. I've taught martial arts to kids and developed a curriculum that was geared specifically to enhance their development.
I spent several years working with children suffering from autism and Asperger's -- trying to help them learn to deal with the world around them and to learn from their environment. Finally, it was while helping a child that I was asked to work at the Toronto School Board. While I was there, I helped out with kids who were learning English, and my love of teaching ESL began.
